Citizens Bank

The New York Rangers will be playing in their first NHL Winter Classic.
According to Phillyburbs.com the Rangers will take on the Philadelphia Flyers in the popular outdoor game. The Flyers will host the game at Citizens Bank Park–the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Next year’s game will be played on Jan. 2 because the Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the Washington Redskins Sunday Jan. 1–which will have a full slate of NFL games.
This will be the Flyers second Winter Classic game, but first to be played at home.
This year’s Winter Classic between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins had to be moved to the evening because of weather concerns.
The Phillies moved into Citizens Bank Park in 2004 after playing 33 years at Veterans Stadium.
Since moving into the ballpark six years ago, the Phillies have had a winning home record every season and won the World Series in 2008.
