San Antonio Weather

Areas of South Texas closer to San Antonio have a better chance of seeing measurable rain, possibly from severe thunderstorms, on Thursday than those closer to Corpus Christi.
The National Weather Service says Corpus Christi and the surrounding area have a 50 percent chance of rain on Thursday that decreases on Thursday and vanishes on Friday as the winds shift from the southeast to the northeast. Storms could be severe and have hail, if they form.
Between 8-9 a.m., the National Weather Service record more than a half inch of rain in Kerrville. More than .8 inches of rain has fallen in San Antonio as of 10:45 a.m. The National Weather Service is tracking a line of storms from north of Austin to Del Rio. That storm is expected to move on an east direction, but could break up before it reaches the Coastal Bend.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise with highs in the mid 90s inland and upper 80s along the coast. Saturday, temperatures should drop slightly with highs in the upper 80s to 90 inland and low-to-mid 80s along the coast.
