Rumours of Rajinikanth’s death refuse to die down even as the hospital where he is admitted has issued a formal statement making it clear that the mega star is “cheerful” and recovering well under medical observation.
Since late last week, rumours have been doing the rounds that south mega star Rajinikanth has died. But the rumours are false. Yes, the superstar isn’t in good health and is presently hospitalized at Sri Ramachandra Medical University in Porur, but he’s doing fine, if the official statement released by the hospital is to go by.
“He has been advised to stay in hospital for thorough examination to ensure normal health status. A team of doctors, comprising specialists and general physicians, is attending on him, doing necessary investigation and appropriate treatment is being given to him. He is cheerful and is being treated in the private ward,” a statement from Sri Ramachandra Medical University said.
The statement added that medical tests have been conducted on the 61-year-old superstar. His vital parameters were normal but the doctors have prevented Rajini sir from meeting any visitors for the fear of him catching any infection.
Rajinikanth is not in ICU but in a private ward at the hospital.
