I have a 3rd gen mc model ipod touch. had 3.1.3 jailbreak firmware previously on it. earlier today i upgraded to 4.2.1 non jailbroken firmware

Im trying to upgrade to the 4.2.1 jailbroken firmware using red sn0w.

I set everything up then when its loading it gets stuck at "exploiting with limera1n" and it just freezes there.

What can i do?

I have infinidock on my iPod Touch 2g, it works until I go into an app. When I go back to the home screen, it won't work. The only way to get it working again is by going to prefences and changing the infinidock settings (like turning something off and then on again) or by going into "wiggle" mode. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

I'm running mbp 13 2011 with Win 7 under bootcamp and Parallels. How do I share folders between the parallels/os x? If there is a powerpoint i'm working on in windows and i wanted to move it over the the mac side, how can i do it? I try inserted a SD card but only the Mac side detects it and not windows.

The UK price is about the same as the Canadian new base model plus our 13% sales tax. I'm guessing your price doesn't even include VAT so it still looks more expensive.

Yeah, you're mad, or trolling... You'd have to swap everything. An iPod is not a desktop, you can just swap out anything you want, it's all soldered to the logic board. Anyway, you'd be buying everything apart from the case, but since parts are expensive you probably wouldn't save any money.

tl;dr: illogical idea is illogical. Throw a massive HDD in there or buy a 6G.

sorry what i meant was I uninstalled repo666. whatever it was and I dont see it on Cydia anymore. I still get at&t signal tho. is this a sign that my phone is factory unlocked. and I read up some reviews and they say that iphones in italy are all factory unlocked. really confused.. doesnt anyone know anything about Italy iphones?

What about ultrasnow? Is it installed under packages? Removing the source is not the same.
If ultrasnow was installed it is NOT factory unlocked.

I Just downloaded the album. Most of the songs are in Hebrew (she's Israeli) and I don't speak the language aside from a few choice words that, if used, would ban me from MacRumors for eternity. Very melodic album nonetheless.

Just stream it from the computer via WiFi2HiFi. Its handy when you have a sound dock and a computer in the same room.

You are right! WiFi2HiFi app can not only stream Amazon Cloud Player, but also

Does the promotion definitely start at the end of May? I graduate June 12, so there's a limited window in which I can still take advantage of the student deals (and my 2007 MacBook is on its way out).

2008 - Tuesday June 3rd
2009 - Tuesday May 26th
2010 - Tuesday May 25th

Best bet for 2011 would be either the 24th of May or the 31st of May based on the historic dates

Sorry for this basic question, but I am a new mac user (mba late 2010) and am still learning the OS needs and such. I see a number of anti virus, etc software options advertised. have been told by other mac users not necessary. I would appreciate any thoughts. The same way you always upgrade a jb phone;

1. Upgrade to 4.3.3 in iTunes
2. Re-jb
3. Reinstall all jb packages or use pgkbkup to restore them (after backing them up before Step 1)

Sounds like you need a new PRAM battery.

Just pick up a new CR2032 Lithium battery from your neighborhood drug store and replace the one in the machine.

Thought, I guess you could try reseting the PRAM first and that's holding [Command + Option + P + R] on the keyboard before the gray screen pops up.
