Former SNL'er Victoria Jackson- "There's A Communist Living In The White House"
About twenty years ago Victoria Jackson became a familiar figure on Saturday Night Live portraying a generic ditzy blond.
Now, she's morphed into a second career....ditzy blond Tea Bagger.
Victoria was at the Anti-Tax Tea Party rally in Washington today, and performed for the crowd. Here she is, courtesy of Ed Schultz and The Ed Show on MSNBC
I think Miss Vicky is gearing up for another phase of life....maybe public office is next. Bachmann, Palin.....at least Victoria used to get paid for saying dumb stuff, and she knew it was dumb.
Until now.

Former GOP Congressman Walks Out of MSNBC Interview
Former Colorado Congressman and candidate for the Republican Presidential nomination for 2008 Tom Tancredo walked off the set of MSNBC's The Ed Show, with David Shuster subbing for host Ed Schultz after a discussion about Thursday's staged anti healthcare event on the Capitol's steps turned into an on the set argument with Daily Kos's Markos Moulitas.
Tancredo wouldn't criticize Republican leaders who appeared and spoke at the so called "press conference", which was in opposition to healthcare reform. When Moulitas defended government healthcare programs like the Veteran's Administration, Tancredo answered that veterans would rather have choice, like a voucher system.
Then this exchange occurred (from The Huffington Post).

An article from The Denver Post.com (originally posted 11/27/05 and updated 9/04/06) said the following about Tom Tancredo during his college years during the Vietnam War era....
Soon afterward Tancredo became a junior high school teacher. In 1976 he ran and won a seat in the State House of Representatives in Colorado.
(For the record and in the interest of full disclosure, this writer served in the United States Air Force for 4.5 years during that same era. The United States was involved in combat operations in Vietnam during the first two of those years).

"Tom, I'm a veteran. Okay?" Moulitas responded. "I did not get a deferment because I was too depressed to fight a war I supported in Vietnam. I'm a veteran. They want a more effective V.A. ..."
"You're not going to do that. You're not going to try to insult me that way and then pretend like we're just going on and talk about that. You either apologize ..." When Moulitas did not apologize, Tancredo simply took out his earpiece and walked away.
As a Republican student activist, Tancredo spoke out in favor of the Vietnam War but did not serve.

"As a Republican student activist, Tancredo spoke out in favor of the Vietnam War. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in June 1969, he became eligible to serve in Vietnam. Tancredo said he went for his physical, telling doctors he'd been treated for depression, and eventually got a "1-Y" deferment."
