Game 6 of 2009 World Series- Batter Up!
A pivotal six game of the 2009 World Series kicks off in a few hours between the defending world champion Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees. Andy Pettitte pitches for New York on short rest, and the man Yankee fans love to hate, the great Pedro Martinez starts for the Phils. The Yanks lead, 3-2.
Will the Yanks sew it up tonight? Or will the Phillies come back to even the series at three apiece? Can Chase Utley hit a record sixth World Series home run? Will Ryan Howard ever get any kind of hit for the Phillies? Can Mariano Rivera come in for three innings to close it out for the Yankees? And how dirty will Johnny Damon's uniform get in this one?
Seeya later!

Phils Win 8-6 Behind Lee and Utley; Series Goes Back To The Bronx
Starting pitcher Cliff Lee gave the Phillies seven strong innings and second baseman Chase Utley slugged two home runs as Philadelphia beat the New York Yankees 8-6, cutting the Yanks World Series advantage to 3-2.
Yankee starter AJ Burnett, working on short rest, couldn't get past the third inning, and gave up six runs on six hits, walked four, and hit Phils centerfielder Shane Victorino. Yankee reliever Phil Coke gave up solo homers to Utley and Raul Ibanez in the seventh to account for the rest of the Phillies scoring.
Utley now has five World Series home runs in 2009, tying him with Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson who hit five for the Yankees in the 1977 series against the LA Dodgers.
The 2009 World Series returns to Yankee Stadium in The Bronx for Game Six on Wednesday night.
