Nicki Minaj Delays Video Premiere of (Super Bass)

Nicki Minaj has delayed the premiere of her video for her new single 'Super Bass,' much to the dismay of eager hip-hop fans and Barbies.

Minaj announced yesterday via Twitter that her music video will not make its debut today on BET's '106 & Park' as originally scheduled. "Super Bass is no longer coming out tmrw," she tweeted with no further explanation.

'Super Bass' is the latest single off of Nicki's chart-topping debut album 'Pink Friday.' '106 & Park' aired a sneak peek preview of the vid to tide fans over, which has of course found its way onto the Internet.

The second-hand video shows Minaj shimmying and shaking, leading a pack of pink-wigged dancers in daisy dukes. The 'Super Bass' video was directed by Sanaa Hamri, who has also worked with superstars like Mariah Carey, Prince and Jay-Z to name a few.

Although the new video's release has been delayed, Minaj has certainly been keeping herself busy otherwise. She's prepping to go on tour with Britney Spears and recently dropped a remix of Brit's 'Till the World Ends' track.

Nicki Minaj Officially Joins Britney Spears' Tour

It's official! Nicki Minaj will join Britney Spears on her North American tour this summer, according to TMZ.

Sources close to the tour say negotiations ended days ago and the deal has been signed. Spears' tour kicks off June 17 in Sacramento, California.

There's already been a fair share of drama surrounding who would join the singer on the road this summer.

Spears made an announcement on 'Good Morning America' that Enrique Iglesias would headline the tour with her. However, Iglesias dropped out of the deal just hours after the announcement.

When rumors began that Minaj would hit the road with Spears on tour, the fan reaction was overwhelmingly supportive. Minaj is currently on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of April.

Nicki Minaj on Britney Spears: (I Love Her. She is a Sexy Girl)

At last night’s Casio’s TRYX OUT: NYC 2011 at the Best Buy Theater, Nicki Minaj commented on the question on everyone’s mind: Will she tour with Britney Spears?

Nicki Said “I don’t know yet. Britney is a beautiful girl, I love her. She’s a sexy girl. I’ll have to recruit her for my Barbie army.”

She also told reporters that the two of them are in talks and that she would love to do it.

Another person that Nicki wouldn’t mind collaborating with would be Justin Bieber!

She said  “Of course I would collaborate with Justin. He’s a cutie pie.”

Nicki is still on tour through April with Lil Wayne. When asked about the tour, Nicki commented that it’s quite an experience so far.

“Amazing! Amazing every night, every city we’ve been to, they’ve all unbelievable. Screaming at the top of their lungs, just giving us so much love and we’re really appreciating everyone for supporting the tour. ”

Nicki Minaj in Talks to Join Britney Spears on Tour

Enrique Iglesias pulled out of Britney Spears' forthcoming tour, and now rumor has it that Nicki Minaj may step in to fill the Latin singer's spot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, although Minaj is not confirmed for the tour, she is being courted by tour execs. But Spears' gig would mean back to back tours for the 'Pink Friday' rapper. While Spears' tour doesn't kick off until June 17 in Sacremento, Calif., Minaj is currently on tour with Lil Wayne for his 'I Am Still Music' trek.

We're just hoping that Minaj's deal goes through and that negotiations don't go awry, a la Iglesias, who, according to THR, pulled out of the tour because he felt like he was opening for Spears rather than sharing the headlining title.

Regardless of who Spears brings along on tour, she's set to be the hottest ticket in town. Her latest album, 'Femme Fatale,' debuted at No. 1 on the charts, selling more than 276,000 copies in its first week alone.

Previous to Minaj's possible involvement, Spears was campaigning to share the stage with Usher -- but their competing tour producers made it difficult for the pair to make their possible collaboration a reality.
