Someone in eastern Idaho woke up Thursday morning a million dollars richer.
The Idaho Lottery confirms one winning ticket from Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing matched the first five numbers and has the PowerPlay feature making it worth $1,000,000. The winning numbers were 7, 12, 13, 42, 49 and the Powerball was 16.
”We are encouraging everyone who bought a ticket for (Wednesday) night's Powerball draw to check their tickets carefully for winners," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.
The winning ticket has the PowerPlay, an add-on for $1 extra per line played at the time of purchase, Anderson said. PowerPlay multiplies non-jackpot winning tickets up to $1,000,000.
