New Cabinet

Singapore policy is generally characterized by incremental changes. However, the general elections of cuenca on May 7, politics and Government in Singapore will not be the same again. The changes described in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as a “pioneer”.

The last major change in the Cabinet in 2001 now seems less dramatic and TAME in comparison.

In 2001, on the back of a good harvest of new deputies elected in that year, only seven new members–including now appointed a new Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam-office holders made but not appointed Cabinet.

The new cabinet represents a break with the past and stresses the need for a process of political renewal of the highest level. It is the biggest injection of new blood in the Government after a GE. PM Lee indicated that further amendments to interim.
