Top officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation -- which is investigating 2G spectrum scam case under direct supervision of the Supreme Court -- were tight-lipped on Friday morning on answering the uncomfortable question: whether or not the agency will seek arrest of Kanimozi.

"We have chargesheeted her and now it is for the court to take whatever action it wants," said a source in the agency.
Though she has an official residence in the heart of the national capital, she chose to stay at the Tamil Nadu Bhavan instead on Thursday night, where she has been accompanied by her party supporters and relatives.
"It is a very, very serious charge and that I am very clear and I am very sure that we will come out of it and I will come out of it clean," Kanimozhi told TV channels on Thursday.
In its supplementary charge sheet filed in a special court on April 25, the CBI had accused Kanimozhi of entering into a criminal conspiracy with former telecom minister A Raja for allegedly accepting illegal gratification through Kalaignar TV-- a channel run by the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, in which the money related to the 2G scam was routed.
