NEW YORK–update my earlier post, Yankees GM Brian Cashman only told reporters that Jorge Posada asked to be taken out of the lineup at 6 am today.
“At 6 am, Joe Girardi of the alignment in DH and the No. 9 holes, asked to Jorge Posada,” Cashman said.
The GM would have no other details, or have other questions. It would not be asked if it was a matter of “insubordination”, comments, which, of course, said
